The Absurd

In the twilight zone of our minds, where reason and self reflection give pause to the dramatic collisions of contradiction and the nature of our animal; no truth can be held or meaning gained other than our pondering of the absurdity — our inability to to resolve the conflicts.

The more convoluted the world becomes, with it’s various degrees of social, political and internal struggles; as people attempt to give meaning to the meaningless, in disagreement with others. Those claiming certainty in well defining their beliefs, are inconsistent; hypocritical. Which only further adds to the state of absurdity.

To embrace the dissonance this imposes, is to acknowledge you don’t have answers, without avoiding the issues of the problem. “acceptance, without resignation”. To take a position or belief you know is neither right or wrong, and astutely state or be aware as much, is a model of ones integrity. Others feign to have answers; you can only subject yourself to accepting their lies, while knowing their lies, either ‘cause it is more ideal or it’s the path of least resistance. Without self reflection and criticism, you do not know which you follow.

History is ripe with people telling us to struggle - that the harder it is to come to an answer or solution, the more ideal it is; the narrow path — the middle way. The contradiction is the more people who follow that path, the wider it becomes. So what was once ideal, is not always so; and the path of least resistance, becomes less so. And to add to our confusion, what is sometimes ideal, follows in the exact path of what is least resistant. So there is no truth in either.

The more absurd the world becomes, the more absurd we become as we seek consistency and the harder it is to obtain. So just embrace the absurd; lay in bed at night and laugh at how foolish you are, and laugh at the universe or with the universe; appear to be insane. BE DRAMATIC, write lengthy spammy tweets and articles, while speaking with a Shakespearean prose as you formulate your thoughts. TAKE NOTHING SERIOUS, but be very serious about it. BE THE ABSURD.
