The Three People that have made my Findworka Journey Joyful

Tech = great products iff collaboration ε(activity matrix)

The statement above depicts the importance of collaboration and the consequence of its absence in the activities of any technology ecosystem. For curious minds like me, the mathematical statement reads technology leads to great products if and only if collaboration is included in the activity matrix. Simply put, for a technology firm, workspace or ecosystem to succeed, there must be a high level of collaboration amongst the teams.

As a fellow at the Findworka academy, it is not only delightful to witness firsthand the benefits of collaboration but more importantly, astonishing to interact with the faces behind the system. This is more reinforcing as humans are social animals and will perform more optimally in an environment with such characteristic. Specifically in the data science track, to which I belong, I have been fortunate to meet three of such people that have significantly made my Findworka journey joyful.

Needless to say that I have to describe these lovely people and I will be doing so with no particular order;

Abdullateef Adedeji Adelanwa

This hardworking young man has virtually become the resource centre for the class, providing us with videos, articles and documents to further deepen our knowledge of the various topics we treat in class. Interestingly, his journey into data science has been deliberate and more or less, ingenious as he had taken trainings in other specializations like mobile app development before settling for data science. As a strong admirer of intelligence, hard work and doggedness, I could not take my focus away from his activities during and off the classes. This attitude of his has been crucial to cementing the bond in the class and little wonder we made him the class representative.

Boluwatife Olufade

Bolu as we call her casually is a beautiful young lady with innocence written all over her reactions that makes you attracted to her. Never mind the introduction, she’s remarkably brilliant and is of course a true representation of what women can achieve when exposed to trainings and they acquire skill. A recent graduate of computer science from the Lagos State University, she is willing to go extra lengths to get her codes work, not minding the size of eye bags she has. Interestingly, she broke the ice during my first class by solving the challenge posed to us, before any other person. Definitely, if she continues like this, she stands the chance of breaking bounds and impacting the society like the Katherine Johnsons of this world.

Oghenetega Okukulabe

As I said earlier, this outline of the three individuals that have been helpful all through this journey is not in any particular order. The first you notice about this cute guy is of course his cuteness. This Delta boy is naturally calm with a demeanour not commonly found elsewhere. Tega as we call him is a graduate of the renowned University of Benin and if there’s any trait to describe, hard work, tenacity and a high level of meticulousness will be the leading attributes. Should you be looking for the Blockbuster or Netflix of the group, you’ve got Tega for a partner.

Notwithstanding the mentions here, other members of the group; Afegunsho Abiodun, Jubril Mohammed and Princess have all been very helpful.
