REP Sponsored Promotion Post

Expack is a company that ships Canadian, UK, Germany, and France goods to customers who want treats and snacks from their home country. Generally, these citizens are now living in the states.

Seascape principles uses value principle because it is what you see is what you get. It also uses the zeitgeist because it is dealing with specific geographic areas as mentioned above and their deferring cultures.

Design principles that were used were alignment, colour contrast, and repetition.

Alignment:

The image is aligned directly down the middle and provides great proximity for the entire advertisement. It helps the user focus on the products provided.

Colour Contrast:

The advertisement use red and white as contrasting colours, but it also plays a role in the fact Canadian colours are red and white. The red background helps the white of the individual products being provided to pop out on the advertisement, which focuses the user’s eyes.

Repetition:

The repetition in this video is the use of stripes and the colour red. This keeps the ad cohesive to their brand.

Overall, I feel that Expack great principles to help iterate their product and services they provide. The use of the design principles above helps users understand their product, focuses their attentions. I think it also scroll stopping because of the bright colour nature of the advertisement.
