BLOG 05

When looking at my college experience now with a year under my belt I feel as if the best word to describe it is growth. College comes with many social constructs, pressures and stresses that can kick start something within us as people that comes with the independence that is given to you in a college setting. The hardest part is learning how to cope with all the fun while also being able to keep a healthy mental state. Without the balance of a stereotypical college experience and also being able to keep up with your studies is something can cause us to realize that college is really just the next step before we hit that real part of life where instead of being asked to grow up you are forced too. Though all these things can be daunting college has also given me some of the best things I have. These include a more mature music taste, learning how to maintain healthy relationships while also learning how to have difficult intellectual conversations with others.
