Varjak Paw

Towing myself to the top of the wall , it was a long way to fall . I sat breathless for several moments . Some what flustered , i had made it . my legs tremble with both fear and anticipation.I was alone Truly alone . Thoughts ran through my head like a lion chasing a deer . Had i done the right thing ? Was i right to leave elder paw , the only cat who had always been there for me ?

Ahead of me was an ocean of lights but i did not know what they were or were they lead . They were streching far away into the darkness . Temors were coming up from some were dee within me , racking me open . I pushed them back down . Thousands of glaring eyes were glaring at me . The view was to big and i was too small. Bravely , i slid forward using my teeth to cling on the ice like moss.

Between the twilight sky, i was one . I was nothing . My stomach lurched . I was going to be sick if i stayed on the wall any longer. Clumsily , I once again peered over the edge . In front of me , was a large tree , which had mossy arms . It encouraged me to jump . Soon the wind seem to taunt me . I ignored it . Should i make the jump ? Was i about to let Elder paw down . I could not help it . I jumped . In the blink of an eye , all went black.
