As we all are aware of the circumstances around the world, things are becoming pretty challenging for the general public, especially new entrepreneurs. Take this as an example. Before the lockdown, I would ask people where they would want to be a year from now. This was the beginning of my sales pitch. However, now, due to the uncertainty in almost everything, you need to ask people what they want at this moment. What would really help them at this moment? People need help right now and want to move forward from there onwards. This way, you both would win!

So, this is a common thought that any salesperson would have. However, this holds more important now than ever. You want to be laser-focused on what’s in it for them. This way, they can see how they can benefit working with you and investing with you. You need to invest more time in it and go into the finer details. You have to see what they are looking for and how you will be able to help them out and how they will benefit from your services.

People really need to know that you are their ally and will help them in the long term. You have to build up a vision that investing with you will help them in the near future. You need to build up a vision of how everything will come back to them in profit, emotionally, and how it’s going to come back in more clients. If you are not able to make this vision, then nobody will win. You can really inspire them, and people could really use the inspiration right now!

Lastly, you need to frame your offer so the clients can see how it will pay for itself. Whenever you are offering something to the clients, you need to frame it in such a way that it creates an impression to the client that it will pay them off not just once, but ten times over plus — client by client, contract by contract. People need to see that whatever investment they are making will come back to them and at what time frame.

This is the time to really start talking about results and paint a picture in front of them. Don’t hide any details and tell them how your offer will help them out. It is your job to paint the picture and sell your business to the clients. Now is the best time for you to get comfortable with your clients and make offers that will help them solve their problems!

So, if you are a business owner who is struggling to close clients, you can enroll clients easily by meeting people where they are, not hiding any details, and outlining the value of what you have to offer. This is not really the time to enroll people for year-long contracts. This is about meeting the immediate needs of people! Show them how investing and working with you will come back ten times more! The worst thing you can do right now is nothing! So, make sure to follow these three tips and continue to get sales during this difficult time; after all, a business relies on closing clients and making sales!
